Dome Security Cameras

Dome cameras are much more than a stylistic choice (though they are some of our most compact, sleek, and attractive cameras). They serve a real security purpose and make certain kinds of security (like Pan Tilt Zoom) easier and more effective. Dome cameras, like any bullet camera, are easy to personalize and make your own. Vandal proofing, night vision, weather proofing - you name it, we’ve got a great dome security camera that can do it. From high-end PTZ models to basic indoor VR Silvers, we’ve got you covered when it comes to dome camera security.

The EZDome VF Line This line of domed security cameras features three distinct models, all with different strengths in terms of definition and picture quality. The Silver model, one of our best values in the store, is rated at 420 lines of resolution. The Gold model ups the ante to a robust 550 lines, and the Platinum offers 700 lines, high definition images that will be able to identify and clearly show any crime or criminal that passes through it’s view. All of these cameras are indoor only, meaning they haven’t been weatherproofed or vandal proofed.

The EZDome VPIR Line These are among our most accomplished and fully loaded basic dome security cameras. These cameras are all equipped with hard-shell vandal proofing, meaning they will be difficult to disable by vandals or criminals. They are weatherproof, meaning you can confidently deploy them in rain, wind snow, or anything else mother nature can throw their way. They won’t malfunction and they will maintain their picture quality as much as possible. Because these cameras are good for indoor and outdoor use, they are among our most versatile.

The three models here are also divided into Silver, Gold and Platinum. The Silver model provides 420 lines of resolution, the Gold standard is 550 lines, and the Platinum model is in high definition (700 lines of resolution).

Honeywell Dome Cameras Honeywell is one of the most respected names in the security industry, and their dome cameras are among the best available. We’re proud to carry them at EZWatch. The HD-60 is an efficient little camera that records at 380 lines of resolution and switches to black and white at night. It’s an indoor camera, so it’s not weatherproofed or vandal proofed.

The HD-73 is a bit more robust than the HD-60, recording at 480 lines of resolution (between our Gold and Silver standards) and featuring vandal proofing, weather proofing, and tamper resistant functionality. This is a strong and capable camera able to go indoors and out, and perform very well in either case.

PTZ Dome Cameras Cameras like the EZ-Track Dome are a perfect example of how the dome camera enables PTZ functionality in a way that bullet cameras really can’t. The lens of this camera is able to roll, pan, tilt and zoom in all directions - it’s not limited by an arm structure the way the bullet camera is. the EZ-Track is a great camera, featuring motion tracking, a 36X zoom, and picture clarity in 530 lines.
