The EZ-CD39IR-VP security camera is meant for use both indoors and out, and offers a slightly sharper image than the EZ-CD39IR-VP and a much wider varifocal lens for security at the next level.

Can I use this camera outdoors? Yes, in fact the EZ-CD39IR-VP is perfect for outdoor use, even in places where there is a lot of traffic (the threat of vandalism) or a lot of bad weather exposure. It’s proofed against tampering, vandalism, and weather, and it’s also night vision capable.
What are 480 lines of resolution? Is it worth it? This camera will provide resolution a bit better than our line of Silver cameras, and a little under the standard of our Gold line. It’s more than worth it, as you’ll get above average shots at an average price.
Can the camera provide good video even in complete darkness? Up to 40 feet away, you’ll get crisp black and white footage from the EZ-CD39IR-VP.
How much control will I have over the shot the camera provides me? Plenty. Not only can you control the lens, which is capable of shooting at an extreme wide angle (therefore surveying a very wide area) you can manually adjust the settings of the camera when you install it.
Will these cameras be “safe” out of doors? Very safe. This is one of our toughest and most impenetrable cameras - it’s vandal proof, weather proof, and even tamper proof.
