Our most powerful outdoor offering, this amazing camera has an incredible 230x zoom capabilities (23x Optical Zoom, 10x Digital Zoom). The camera is capable of seeing in an incredible 0.005 lux with the built-in Digital Slow Shutter feature, letting it see in conditions twice as dark as other low light cameras are capable of. Its rugged housing and built-in Heater and Blower ensure full functionality in harsh conditions.
The unit supports 128 stored preset positions and one auto-cruise track to follow through a programmed route. When connected to an EZ Watch Pro 4.0 system using our TRP-C08 Communications module, it can be controlled remotely over the internet from anywhere you go. It connects using a simple two-wire RS485 connection, allowing for a quick and simple setup to ensure no problems occur during installation. This camera works well both indoors and out. At night it does need a little light to perform (it’s not night vision, but it is able to record in dim light), but its weatherproof exterior and superior functionality make it strong and versatile.
Pan tilt zoom means a full range of motion and the ability to get almost any shot. It also means the user has complete control over the areas, angles and images you can get.
Because this is a mini camera its more discrete than many of its PTZ peers. It’s less vulnerable to attacks (because it’s less noticeable) and it’s easier to slip into your design scheme (if that’s important).

Can I use this camera outdoors? Yes. The EZ53W is capable of recording good video images in dim light (though it’s not a night vision camera) and it’s weatherproofed, two pre-requisites for outdoor use. PTZ controls are perfect for outdoor cameras, because you can survey a very wide open area with just a few (or even one) cameras.
What are 480 lines of resolution? Is it worth it? 480 lines of resolution is good but not exceptional. It lies between our Gold and Silver standards.
Can the camera provide good video even in complete darkness? No, this camera is not night vision capable. It is however good in dim light.
How much control will I have over the shot the camera provides me? PTZ cameras like this one give you complete control. Roll, scan, pan, tilt - anything you want the camera to do, focus on or sweep is within your reach.

Products manufactured by 3rd party sources such as Honeywell, Sony and American Dynamics are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty.
During the warranty period if your equipment is deemed to be defective due to a manufacturing defect and you are issued an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from our technical support department, we will repair or replace the product. During the 1st 30 days, we will pay for shipping to and from your location on any warranty items. After 30 days, the cost for shipping the product back to EZWatch is the responsibility of the customer.
