The EZDome VP-IR Gold is a complete version of the EZDome VF Gold. It has all the indoor capabilities of that camera with additional outdoor functionality. That functionality includes night vision (up to 45 feet away from the lens), weather proofed casing to protect against bad weather and extreme temperatures, and a vandal proof exterior to discourage anyone or anything interrupting the camera’s coverage of your outdoor area. At 550 lines of resolution, our “Gold” level, the EZDome VP-IR Gold is a high resolution camera with clarity and crispness to spare. Whether outside or inside, attached to the wall or the ceiling, this camera will get the shot you need and keep your area secure.

Can I use this camera indoors? The EZDOME-VP-IR-GOLD has all the same indoor functionality of the VF-GOLD model, so it will record clear, full color video indoors. However it’s also outfitted with all the essential features of a great outdoor camera, meaning it can wear lots of different hats in any security installations.
When you say this camera is weather proof, what exactly do you mean? Wind, rain, sleet, snow, any kind of extreme element that might affect a regular outdoor camera - this model is built to withstand. You won’t have to worry about degraded quality when you place this camera in an outdoor locale.
What are 550 lines of resolution? Is it worth it? 550 lines of resolution is considered high resolution. While we have several cameras that go higher than this (up to 700 lines) this is considered our “gold standard.”

Products manufactured by 3rd party sources such as Honeywell, Sony and American Dynamics are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty.
During the warranty period if your equipment is deemed to be defective due to a manufacturing defect and you are issued an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from our technical support department, we will repair or replace the product. During the 1st 30 days, we will pay for shipping to and from your location on any warranty items. After 30 days, the cost for shipping the product back to EZWatch is the responsibility of the customer.
